New Patient Checks
Please book at reception at time of registration. Please bring a urine specimen with you.
Contraceptive Services
All the doctors are qualified to discuss all aspects of contraception. Certain procedures may require appointments with particular doctors. We can offer contraceptive advice to patients that are not on our practice list or within our practice area.
Childhood Immunisations
By appointment with a nurse. We operate an invitation / recall programme.
Ante-Natal Care
The ante natal care is shared between the practice doctors and the community midwife

Flu Vaccine
Early October onwards with the Doctors and Practice Nurses. You will be informed via the website of dates and times.
Travel Advice
By arrangement with the Practice Nurse. Please book at least two months prior to planned travel.
Minor Surgery
We can offer most minor surgical procedures and joint injections after assessment by a GP.
District Nurses
Visit the housebound. Messages can be left for the District Nurse at Reception.
Investigations
Blood tests, ECGs and Spirometry as arranged by the practice team are carried out on the premises.
Patient Library
Books on various topics are available for patients to borrow. Please discuss your request with a Doctor or Practice Manager first.
Asthma and Respiratory Diseases Clinic
A double appointment should be booked with Claire Russell.
Diabetic Clinic
By appointment only.
We aim to offer our diabetic patients a complete review at least annually, after an initial assessment by a practice nurse or health care assistant.
The Paula Carr Trust
The mobile eye screening team visit the surgery regularly. All diabetic patients are invited to attend.
Mr Rob Thomas continues to offer a private osteopathy service on a Wednesday afternoon.
