   Surgery Opening Times

 

The surgery is open from 8.30am until 1.00pm and 2.00pm until 6.30pm Monday to Friday. A doctor is available between 8.00am and 8.30am and 1.00pm and 2.00pm to deal with medical emergencies only.

In addition, the Surgery will have extended opening hours every weekday from 6.30 pm. to 7 pm for pre-booked routine appointments. The Surgery no longer offers early morning appointments. The surgery is open during these times by appointment only and remains closed for all other services.

All consultations are by appointment and can be made in person or by telephone during opening hours. You are free to make appointments with any doctor or nurse you wish to see but please try to see the same doctor for follow-up appointments in any particular episode of illness.

If you think that you need to be seen on the same day please tell the receptionist. She will arrange for the duty doctor to call you back and he will consider when and where you need to be seen.

All the doctors offer 10 minute routine appointments and try to keep to time but delays are sometimes unavoidable due to patients needing emergency care. If you think your problem is particularly complex you are encouraged to book a double appointment.
