The surgery is open from 8.30am until 1.00pm and 2.00pm until 6.30pm Monday to Friday. A doctor is available between 1.00pm and 2.00pm to deal with medical emergencies only. In addition, on a Tuesday evening the Surgery will have extended opening from 6.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. for pre-booked routine appointments, and on Wednesday & Thursday mornings the Surgery will offer extended opening from 7 a.m. to 8.30 a.m. for pre-booked routine appointments. The surgery is open during these times by appointment only and remains closed for all other services.
All consultations are by appointment and
can be made in person or by telephone
during opening hours. You are free to make
appointments with any doctor or nurse you
wish to see but please try to see the same
doctor for follow-up appointments in any
particular episode of illness.
If you think that you need to be seen on
the same day please tell the receptionist.
She will arrange for the duty doctor to
call you back and he will consider when
and where you need to be seen.
All the doctors offer 10 minute routine
appointments and try to keep to time but
delays are sometimes unavoidable. If you
think your problem is particularly complex
you are encouraged to book a double
appointment.
